Your first workspace, step by step
Create an account, set up a workspace, and get your first dynamic QR code working.

- 10–15 minutes (plus approval time)
- Prerequisites
- A phone or computer with a modern browser, and an email address or Google account.
- Click Get started in the top bar. Choose Continue with Google, or type your email and a password of at least 6 characters and click Sign up.
- If a teammate invited you, type their 8-character invite code (for example ABCD-EFGH) in the Invite code box before you sign up. You will join their workspace and can skip the next step.
- Create your workspace: pick the kind of organization, then enter a workspace name, a slug (a short handle — lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens), and a billing currency (USD or KES). Review the details and click Create workspace. You become the workspace owner.
- Your workspace starts as Pending approval. The VASQR team reviews new workspaces, usually within one business day. Your free 7-day trial starts the moment it is approved.
- Once approved, open QR Codes in the sidebar and create your first dynamic QR code. Click Test open on the new code to confirm it lands on the right page.
- Download the PNG or SVG and add it to your menu, poster, or packaging.
- Before the 7-day trial ends, open Billing, choose Starter or Pro, pay, and submit your payment for approval so your printed codes keep working.
Good to know
- On a phone, tap the menu button (☰) at the top-left to open the sidebar. It closes when you pick a page.
- On a computer, click Collapse at the bottom of the sidebar to shrink it to icons. Hover an icon to see its name.
- You can belong to more than one workspace. Switch between them from the workspace dropdown at the top of the app.
