Why every VASQR code is dynamic

Understand the difference between the Scan URL printed in the code and the Opens destination you control.

VASQR makes one kind of QR code: dynamic. There is no static option.
The printed pattern holds a short VASQR link — your VASQR address followed by /r/ and a short code. The short code is assigned when you create the QR and never changes. On each QR card this is shown as Scan URL.
Opens, on the same card, is the destination you typed — your website, WhatsApp chat, review page, and so on. It is stored in VASQR, not in the printed pattern.
Change Opens at any time with Edit. Codes that are already printed start sending people to the new destination on the next scan — no reprint needed.
Every scan is checked by VASQR first. If your workspace's trial or plan is active and the code is Active, the visitor goes straight to Opens. If not, they see a short "This QR code is unavailable" page instead of your destination.
Because every scan passes through VASQR, scans are counted in Analytics.

Good to know

Printed codes pause if the trial ends or a plan lapses, and work again as soon as billing is active — the printed code itself never needs to change.
When someone runs VASQR on their own computer for testing, the Scan URL shows a local address (such as localhost). That is only for local development — phones cannot reach it. Live workspaces show the public VASQR address.
