Test a scan and understand what visitors see

Check a code before you print it, and know what happens on each scan.

On QR Codes, click Test open on the code, or scan the downloaded image with your phone camera.
The camera opens the Scan URL. VASQR checks the code and your workspace in a fraction of a second.
If everything is active, the visitor lands on the Opens destination.
If you set a password, the visitor enters it first. If you turned on Request approximate location on scan for a hosted page (landing, Wi‑Fi, or contact card), they may be asked to share an approximate location — the scan still works if they decline.
If the code is paused, outside its start/end time, over its scan limit, or the workspace's trial or plan is not active, the visitor sees a short page explaining the code is unavailable. Your destination is never shown in that case.
Open Analytics to see total scans, unique scans, blocked scans, countries, devices, and scans per code.

Good to know

Scanning always needs an internet connection — for the visitor and for VASQR.
If a phone scan opens a localhost address, you are testing a local development copy of VASQR. Use the live VASQR address for real printing.
